New balance 576 GSL
Last year I did a small custom job on the NB 576 SLG, because I didn't like the silver on them and now I noticed that NB have produced almost exactly what I had in mind. They only have a leather upper instead of suede, so I still prefer the ones I did. They are available now on Oshman's in Japan, not sure if they will also hit these shores, but hopefully they will because mesh 576's are among my favourites.

New Balance 576 Crooked Tongues editions
These New balance 576's were released in 2004 in a special collaboration with Sneaker website Crookedtongues.com. There were only 50 pairs released per colourway, so the chances to get a pair were very limited. Even now it is still hard to track down any pictures or solid info on the release it self. Therefore I've tried to re-create the colourways in Photoshop templates from the picture that I have from the book 'Sneakers: The Complete Collectors' Guide.

New Balance 1500 Custom
I've used this pair over the last year to try out some different things. I must admit that it hasn't been very beneficial to this pair in particulair, but it was very learnful and they are good beaters now. The base shoe is the New Balance 1500 UKB and it looked like this:

...then painted some details grey to break-up the boring blackness (maybe I should've kept them like this;)

...flipped them back to black laces and added the brand name in black.
