New Balance M576 UK Navy White Grey

The base shoe is the M576 UKW. Inspired by the navy grey CT 576, I decided to tweak the colourway a bit. I've used Angelus paint and their Acrylic Finisher for the coating and a letra marker for the felt. The Navy paint was already shiny but the finisher gave it an extra gloss, so now it looks a bit like patent leather. To be honest I'm not too bothered about it since I have plenty of dull leather shoes, but I would like to know how to apply a good and flexible matte coating for the next time.
